Home shirt worn for 2 seasons under manager Dave Bassett, 1990/91 saw the Blades perform one of the greatest escapes in English football history; bottom of the league at Christmas with only 4 points, the club managed to string together 7 straight wins in the new year, eventually finishing in 13th.
The 1991/92 season saw the Bramall Lane team further improve that standing with a 9th place finish, meaning the Blades would take part in the inaugural Premier League campaign the following year.
