Wesley Sneijder spent two seasons at Real Madrid from 2007 to 2009 after joining from Ajax as part of the clubs Dutch revolution under Ramn Caldern. The versatile midfielder made an immediate impact in his debut season, scoring on his La Liga debut and playing a key role in helping Real Madrid win the 2007-08 league title. Known for his vision, passing, and powerful long-range shots, Sneijder was a creative force in midfield, but his second season was less successful as injuries and inconsistency hampered his performances. With Real Madrid undergoing a squad overhaul following Florentino Prezs return as president in 2009, Sneijder was sold to Inter Milan, where he reached his peak, leading the Italian side to a historic treble in 2010.
